World War II veteran Bruno DelCastello, of Burlingame, was recently honored for his 6,102 hours of volunteering at the Veterans Affairs hospital in San Francisco since he started in January 1987. The veteran is fighting prostate cancer and plans to keep volunteering as long as he can.
