Mountain View High School Boys Soccer

I gotta say this was a hell of a game between Mountain View and Woodside. Both sides very skilled and very athletic. Here are a few photos from the game. The story can be found at the end of this post.

Serra Basketball

Serra is probably know as one of the best teams on the Peninsula, even Berry Bonds attended this school when he was young. Though this is not baseball, the Giants general manager, Brian Sabean, was there to watch his son play basketball.

More Breaking News

The San Mateo County Sheriffs office respond to a home invasion robbery at Woodside early Tuesday evening. Three men, one armed with a gun, broke into a house, tied up two residents, and broken into a house safe before leaving, early police reports indicated. The two people were unharmed. The suspects are still at large.

Menlo vs Woodside Football

Another Woodside High School football game took place recently with a battle against Menlo, the school Jerry Rice's son attends and plays sports. It was a great game, with both teams going back and forth and a surprising win coming from the underdog team of Woodside!

Woodside against Seqouia High School Volleyball

Not much happened yesterday... as far as exiting photos mainly meetings and such so I dont think boring photos are called for so here are some photos from the high school game I covered... Enjoy!

Woodside Library

"Two-year-old Celeste Cobaugh, of Woodside, peeks over a shelf during a musical story time event held at the Woodside library on Wednesday. The library holds a Baby/Toddler Musical Storytime on Wednesdays through September 24th. For more information visit: www.smcl.org."

Today was interesting. It was my first day as the solo photographer at our paper. I loaded my self with assignments and was trying to be sufficient with getting there, shooting, editing, and writing captions.

"Left, Anjaline Bekx, of Pacifica, and her husband, Mike Eppley, a senior library assistant, “point at something red” while singing a song on Wednesday at the Woodside library. The fist assignment was at the Woodside Library in Woodside, just west of Redwood City. They have a musical story time that seems to be popular in the area.
