San Francisco Engagement

San Francisco Engagement from Konstandinos Goumenidis on Vimeo.

Photographs and Video taken in San Francisco and South San Francisco of Vanessa and Shaun.

Here is a video/photo slide show I did for one of my clients as a gift :)

MOT: American Le Mans Series

In May once more, I was fortunate enough to photograph the American Le Mans Series held at Monterey's Laguna Seca race track! I always enjoy this track since it has some amazing angles! The day was great, the weather was on the cold side but still nice. I carried my 400mm up and down those hills as well as my new Canon 5D MarkII.

aKDPhi National Convention Legacy Ball

Back in May, I had a photoshoot for the aKDPhi National Convention where over 600 women had shown for this group shot among other photographs that can be found on my Flickr account or on my website at http://kgwebmedia.com

I was lucky how I landed this gig and glad I did.

How did I get this gig? Well a while back, a classmate from high school asked me to see if I could create a website for our graduating class. To me that was a no brainer because one, its for my class, and two, I needed a portfolio for web design for class. After I was finished, the person who saw the website also saw my work and hired me for this event.

The event was a blast!

Biomimicry

First I would like to apologize to all my followers on how bad I have been about updating my blog but with the busy life I have had, it has been the last thing on my mind. Well, I will start back up with a video I made for a class (I started school back up).

Biomimicry Final Project from Konstandinos Goumenidis on Vimeo.

This is a video about Biomimicry put together for a class project explaining what it is.

This was the first Video I ever made and I see there are some places that I can work on but I can't complain. Enjoy!

Red Bluff Round-Up

The Red Bluff Round-Up is coming up! I know it has been a while but I have not been shooting for a while as well. I had a new baby and a lot of stuff changing in my life! All for the good so nothing to worry about. Any way, stay tuned for photographs from the Red Bluff Round-Up :)

Ravens at Raiders

Had the chance to photograph the last game for the Raiders for the season. Game was going fairly well for the raiders until Russell came in. I am not sure what is wrong with the guy and why he is in this slump but for his future I would try to shake out of whatever funk he may have. Here are some photos of the game I hope you can enjoy.

This game I also tried shooting from the stands. The light was interesting and I though another angle would bring interest to the photos.

As you see here . . . Russell looses the ball. Now I am not a Raiders fan but I heard a lot of Raiders being mad about Russell.

San Jose State at Stanford

I went to shoot the Stanford game yesterday. It was an interesting and frustrating game. I got to the game and to the gate where you usually pick up passes and they where not there... so I had to go to another place and basically back track the same distance to the car for me to find out my passes where not there... frustrating but after talking to the POC we got everything squared away. Got down to the field and got a nice shot of the team entering the field.

The game was very one sided and plays happened fast an big so there was not time to catch up to the plays and that was a bit frustrating in it self.

I was able to pull of a few good photos that I didnt mind but overall I was not pleased with the photos. Enjoy the rest.

High School Football

Since I no longer work for the paper I start assigning my self some sports assignments. I am also thinking about a few stories that I can work for. I covered the Sacred Heart Prep game that took place on Saturday. Here are a few Images:

It was a hell of a game for the Gators defeating the Monarchs 34-0. I think a big part of what hurt the visiting team was all the penalties. Also Their short game was a bit week. All the passes where deep and easy to pick off. Instead of mixing up the run with a few short passes the quarter back scrambled in the pocket and end up running the ball.
